Sheila usually holds four Gong Intensive Workshops during the year. The two-day Gong Intensive
is an immersion in the Gong teachings for a whole weekend. The weekend Intensive is open to both beginners and those who already play a little, and our work over the two days will be structured according to the needs of the participants. A variety of gong-related subjects will be covered including learning and practising various techniques. This is an ideal workshop for those who want to kick-start their gong experience and begin their gong journey with expert tuition in the powerful gong space! There will be plenty of opportunity to use many of the different high quality gongs in Sheila’s collection. We will also mention some of the other instruments used in our gong work, & students will learn how to give a simple seated gongbath. Over the two days participants will have ample opportunity to deepen their own personal experience with this powerful healing instrument. Sheila’s books will be available to buy at this workshop, which counts towards CPD and is also a College of Sound Healing extra module workshop for those doing the College training. Please contact Sheila for an information flyer & further details. Earlybird discounted price of £150 applies if workshop is booked and paid for online more than one month in advance.

Online booking is available for all Workshops on the Online Shop and Bookings page, or at Sheila's direct Paypal link here - please state what you are paying for! When you book online or by sending a cheque, you will receive a confirmation email that your booking has been received and your place is assured. As Sheila's workshops are often fully booked, we only accept advance booking and payment for workshops. Please do not turn up on spec on the day without having previously booked your place, as there may not be room for you! Please note - deposits paid for workshops are not refundable.
N.B. It has been brought to our attention that occasionally people experience hiccups in the Paypal payment software in the Online Shop. If you have problems when trying to book for a workshop, you can either go to Sheila's direct Paypal link here, or just email Sheila the details using the Contact form, and she will send you a Paypal invoice directly.

Next one in Devon : December 16th/17th - to celebrate the Winter Solstice & Christmas
There are two options for attending this event : 1) The one-day Introductory Workshop plus the Gong Puja - open to complete beginners. 2) The Gong Puja alone - open only to existing Gong players
including Sheila's current and ex-students.

The One-day Introductory Gong workshop
is an introduction to the use of Gongs for Sound Healing. This is a mixed-ability workshop & the day will be structured to suit the group. No previous experience of the Gong is required to attend – complete beginners are very welcome. We will briefly cover the history and current-day work with the gong in Sound Healing and therapy situations, and learn basic techniques for approaching and playing the gongs. There will be plenty of hands-on opportunity for participants to practise and connect with this powerful healing instrument. The all-night Gong Puja is included in the price of the workshop, and is an ideal opportunity for Gong beginners to experience the Gong Puja ceremony following their introduction to the gong work during the one-day workshop.
N.B. Beginner Gong players MUST attend the one-day workshop before taking part in the Gong Puja, so that they can attune to the powerful energies of the gongs and know how to approach and play the gongs before the Gong Puja ceremony.

All-night Gong Puja Ceremony

The all-night Gong Puja ceremony is open to those who have attended the Introductory workshop beforehand, and also to already experienced gong players, plus Sheila's current and ex-students. Puja participants bring their bedding and sleep in the Gong Puja space while the gongs are played throughout the night, everyone taking a turn. This is a very profound and sacred healing experience, co-created by everyone taking part, and is also a great opportunity for novice Gong players to participate in a Gong event and meet more experienced members of the Gong community.
The Introductory workshop and Gong Puja will be held at Sheila's main Gong workshop venue - Splatthayes, Buckerell, near Honiton, Devon. Please contact Sheila for an information flyer giving full details.
Price for Introductory Workshop plus Gong Puja £95.
Price for Gong Puja alone (open to those who already play the gongs) £25.
Online booking is available on the Online Shop & Bookings page or at Sheila's direct Paypal link here
. Advance booking and payment is essential for this event.

Next one : Saturday March 24th 2018, Cost £60
This is a short-day workshop, from 11am to 4pm, to be held at Splatthayes Studio, Buckerell, Honiton, east Devon. We will be chanting in both English and Sanskrit – the powerful sacred language of traditional spiritual chanting. We will cover the basics of Sanskrit including elementary pronunciation, and learn both simple and more complex chants. This workshop is for those who are interested in the power of chant and mantra, both for use in sound healing, & as part of a spiritual practice. It is suitable for all - whether seasoned chanters or novices, as the day will be structured to suit the group. Participants can expect to end the day in an elevated state of consciousness due to the high energy vibration of sacred chanting! This used to be a full day workshop but we had to shorten it as participants were getting too blissed out to continue until 5pm! When workshop date is fixed, an information flyer is available - please email for more details using the Contact form. Book and pay using Sheila's direct Paypal link here or go to the Online Shop & Bookings page.

Next one : Sunday March 25th 2018, Cost £95

This is a one-day workshop, held
at Splatthayes Studio, Buckerell, Honiton, east Devon. This workshop is for beginners on the harmonium. Sheila has developed this unique workshop to meet an obvious need for people who want to learn to play the harmonium (miniature organ) to accompany chanting. It helps if you already have some knowledge of the piano keyboard, but this is not essential, as full tuition will be given. You will be given very simple music to take away for your own ongoing practise. N.B You do not need to be able to read music to attend and benefit from this workshop – the music is a simple system that Sheila has devised, which can be read by everyone. Harmoniums will be provided but do bring your own if you have one. This workshop may also include a little work with the smaller and more basic brother of the harmonium – the Shruti box. Numbers will be limited so that individual attention can be given to participants. When workshop date is fixed, an information flyer is available - please email for more details using the Contact form. If you have already booked your place you can pay your balance using Sheila's direct Paypal link here.

+ Deposits are paid to save your space in our often fully booked workshops, and are non-refundable.
+ Cancellations more than two months prior to the workshop - your deposit can be transferred to another workshop if spaces are available
+ Cancellations more than four weeks prior to the workshop – refund of your balance minus the deposit of £50.
+ Cancellations less than four weeks before the workshop – no refund.
